Our Lady's MessageIn Our Lady's Message we wish to distinguish three aspects:1. The confirmation of the doctrine of the angel. In the first apparition on May 13, 1917, Our Lady said she had come to ask for reparation. She revealed these truths to the little shepherds through the light from her hands. "O most Holy Trinity, I adore You! My God, my God, I love You in the most Blessed Sacrament! " In the third apparition, on July 13, 1917, she opened her hands again as in the two previous months and the Little Shepherds saw in the reflection of the light, hell, the place of punishment for sins: "You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go." With total clarity the central truths about the Most Holy Trinity, the Holy Eucharist and the function of Mary in the salvific plan of God were communicated to the seers. 2. The function of Mary in God's plan of salvation. a. Mary received from God a special mission for our time marked by grave errors and false doctrines, by wars and social changes: a century in which the Pope and the whole Church are subjected to serious trials and in which souls find themselves in grave danger of being eternally lost. The Message of Fatima points to sin as the principal cause of evils and reason for punishment. Hence the great request of Our Lady: "They must amend their lives and ask forgiveness for their sins." "Do not offend the Lord our God any more, because He is already so much offended." b. Our Lady indicated one important means of avoiding these evils. "God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart." Therefore she asks for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart and reparatory devotion of the First Saturdays. "Pray the Rosary every day!" (And she repeated this request in each apparition). "When you pray the Rosary say after each mystery: O my Jesus, forgive us, save us from the fire of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need." "Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say many times, especially whenever you make some sacrifice: O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." c. The final result of the Message of Fatima: "In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph." 3. The seers Francisco and Jacinta Marto realized to an heroic degree in their short lives, the requests of Our Lady and were taken to heaven by Mary. Their example guides a great number of souls on the way of sanctity. The Church is making serious efforts to officially present the little shepherds as models of sanctity for all the faithful. Their beatification and probable canonization would certainly help to increase knowledge, love and practice of the Message of Fatima in the Church. Lucia will remain for some time on earth. As a Dorothean Sister and later as a discalced Carmelite she has helped to promote the triumph of Mary. Our Lady came to Lucia again, as she promised, eight years later on December 10, 1925. She appeared with the Child Jesus in the Dorothean convent at Pontevedra, Spain. The Blessed Virgin revealed a heart encircled by thorns. The Child Jesus said: "Have compassion on the heart of your most holy Mother, covered with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment, and there is no one to make an act of reparation...." Our Lady spoke next, saying: "Look, my daughter, at my heart, surrounded with thorns with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. You at least try to console me and say that I promise to assist at the hour of death, with all the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me." Catholics have always honored the Blessed Virgin on Saturday because of the pious tradition of her constant faith in Jesus on that first Holy Saturday before the Resurrection. According to Sister Lucia, five first Saturdays of reparation were requested to atone for the five ways in which people offend the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

Our Lady of Fatima Said:(These quotations are in the exact order in which Our Lady of Fatima spoke them beginning with the first apparition on May 13, 1917.)1. Offering:"Will you offer yourselves to God, and bear with submission all the sufferings He sends you, in reparation for the sins that offend Him, and for the conversion of sinners?" 2. Blessed Sacrament: Our Lady opened her hands and flooded the children in light. They fell to their knees, repeating: "Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament." 3. Heaven: "I come down from heaven." Our Lady promised that the children to whom she appeared would go to heaven, but one of them would have to pray many Rosaries "first." 4. Purgatory: "She is in purgatory...." (In reference to a friend, Amelia, who had recently died.) 5. Rosary: "Pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war." (In July:) "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy." 6. Immaculate Heart: "My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God." 7. Sacrifices: "Make sacrifices for sinners, and say often, especially while making a sacrifice: 'O Jesus, this is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners and in reparation for sins committed against 14. the Immaculate Heart of Mary." 8. Hell: "You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. It is to save them that God wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If you do what I tell you, many souls will be saved, and there will be peace." Before Our Lady spoke these words, she opened her hands, as Lucia says in her Memoirs, and "we saw a sea of fire. Plunged in this flame were devils and souls that looked like transparent embers; others were black or bronze, and in human form; these were suspended in flames...." 9. Five Warnings: "If my requests are not heeded, Russia will spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions of the Church; the good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and various entire nations will be annihilated." 10. Peace: "If my requests are fulfilled, Russia will be converted and there will be peace.... Finally, my Immaculate Heart will triumph... an era of peace will be granted to mankind." 11. Prayer: "Pray, pray a great deal and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to hell because they have no one to pray and make sacrifices for them." 12. Amendment of Life: "I have come to ask the faithful to amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins. They must cease offending God, who is already too much offended!" 13. St. Joseph: The only saint who appears at Fatima besides Our Lady. St. Joseph held the Child Jesus in his arms and blessed the people. 14. Scapular of Mount Carmel: In the final vision, on October 13, 1917, Our Lady appeared in the Carmelite habit wearing the Brown Scapular, highlighting the importance of this sacramental.
15. First Saturday Devotion: "I promise to assist at the hour of death, with all the graces necessary for salvation, to all who on the first Saturday of five consecutive months:
Before her death, Jacinta revealed some little-known statements made by Our Lady: 16. War: "War is a punishment for sin."
17. Fashions: "Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much." 18. Matrimony: "Many marriages are not good, they do not please Our Lord and are not of God." 19. Priests: "Priests must be pure, very pure. They should not busy themselves with anything except what concerns the Church and souls. The disobedience of priests to their superiors and to the Holy Father is very displeasing to Our Lord." 20. Sixth Commandment: "More souls go to hell because of sins of impurity than for any other reason." Are you ready to pledge yourself to Our Lady? Click [here]
